Camping with my High School Barkada

Last April, we had an instant and quick get-away with my high school barkada.  We stayed at Dora's family's private property somewhere in Pagatpat.  We brought food and water, and everything we needed to survive our one night camp.
Ever wonder where the light came from? Oh, it's from the motorcycle's headlight.  We were also accompanied by Dora's parents for the night.
There was no electricity. No wifi. No cars. Only us were there. I had a pause from the city life.
We spent the night gazing at the stars.
It's been a while since I've seen a sky full of stars, although the picture does not really justify it.
As the bonfire was burning, we had some conversations and reminisced some high school memories. I am amazed at how our topics are becoming life-related.  It's a sign that we are really growing.

Then we slept in one tent, siksikan lang! Hahaha!
We woke up extra early and took a 1 hour walk to witness the sunrise
from the other side of the hill.
Look how the sun reflects on the grass.
A great view is always made greater when you have a good companion.
We were not complete though, only 6/10.
I always consider them as one of my greatest blessings in life.  No group of friends can every beat my high school squad.  They are the kind of friends whom I may not see every day, but when we do, it feels like nothing has changed at all!  Shout out to this low-maintenance friendship!

If you have this kind of friendship, keep it.

radiating sunshine,
Hannah Borja
