Relived the past through a stroll around Intramuros: The Walled City
One hour was all we have to walk around. One hour was really not enough. One hour, but, still I was very happy to have been transported back in time. Bear with me as I do not have much information. So instead, let me share to you the photos I had here and some insights, too.

Peace out, squad! |
The first thing I noticed upon arriving were these guys! A for the effort of recruiting modern guwardiya sibil. They were really a plus point factor in making you feel the past.
I am an old soul. I love anything old, especially the old style. Believe it or not, my favorite subject next to Math is History. (Yay) To be here made me feel that I belong!
We did the walk on our own. No tourist guides. It's not that we did not want to, but again, we didn't have much time at all. It was very exhausting. That's why, I recommend renting a sikad or paying a tourist guide, because I believe the place is really worth it for some tour. There are many of them around the place. They will just approach you, but make sure to choose wisely.
Intramuros, I can say, is one of Philippine's pride.
Walking around made me ponder on what could have been their life before.
Old but gold.
We saw children are playing along the streets.
I envy them somehow because they are living in this old place, haha!
I don't exactly remember the route we had, but the feeling stays forever.
I will be back and would surely be here for a day to make the best out of it.
We ended up at the National Museum. However, again, we did not get inside.
Although, modern city life is what people really look forward to, but, you know, life really needs a break every now and then. There are times that we feel tired of the tall heights, traffic and people who are in a hurry; and it's during these times when we want to go back to the life before. The life with less hassle. That's why; there's this thing called "unwind." Truly, Intramuros can be one of those go-to-places.
Don't forget the past, because if you appreciate it, you'll understand today in the better way.
