My Korean Cravings were satisfied at The Party Barn, CDO

We all know that anything Korean is trending in our country nowadays.  I, myself, is one of the "kinain ng sistema" because of K-drama's! And I (super) hate watching k-drama scenes that involve eating Korean food because I will really crave for it, but  THANK GOD there's an affordable authentic Korean restaurant in the city that truly satisfies: THE PARTY BARN!
Location: 89 Hayes St, Cagayan de Oro, beside Cebu Pacific office, across Sweet Crafts Cafe, along the street of Lourdes College and near Dynasty Court Hotel.
How it looks from the outside
Very low-key.  Honestly, I wasn't very eager in coming here, because the ambiance outside is not very inviting. In fact, I've passed by this place for several times, but it took me a long time to finally check this out.  So, when we finally decided to visit here, we kept on coming back again and again.
The place's design is very simple and comfy.  It is like a home where you can just be yourself.
The restaurant plays Korean music videos and K-drama OST's to entertain the customers while waiting.
The place is definitely a thumbs up for a group lunch or dinner.
WHAT WE HAD FOR LUNCH
Black noodles/ Jjangmyun YUM!!!
Bimbimbap
From all the bimbimbap's I've tried in the city, this by far, is the best!
More pictures of its interior design.
We were accommodated by the Korean owner himself.  He also cooked the meals. That's why, the authenticity is rest assured.
From simple ramen to kimchi rice to bulgogi to samgyupsal, name it: they have various offers.  The meals are affordable, too, from 80 pesos-260 pesos, good for sharing!
On our way out. Thank you, Party Barn for the great food.
The restaurant's operating hours is from 9 AM to 10 PM every Monday to Saturday, and 10 AM to 9 PM every Sunday.

Overall, I give the Party Barn a rating of 4/5. Food is very tasty. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Hmmm, where's the one point? I suggest, they paint their place with a brighter color because it appeared very dull during day time, but no problem during night time, because the place is filled with lights! ;)

If you love Korean food and want something affordable but authentic at the same time, visit the Party Barn.  Tell me if you won't come back again, because I bet, you will; just like me and my friends! Our first visit here led it as one of our usual hangout places.

Visit their FB PAGE for more details.

THAT'S A WRAP!

radiating sunshine,
Hannah Borja

PS I'll be writing about more Korean Restaurants in the city. Stay tuned.
